Kennel Manager, Surgical/Inpatient Assistant
Kerry Ball joined Flagler Animal Hospital in 2002 as a kennel assistant and is able to work at every staff position in our hospital!
Kerry was promoted to Kennel Manager in 2014. She provides support to our busy kennel staff and oversee the boarding pets staying at the hospital. She also helps in exam rooms, inpatient, and surgery. Kerry is also instrumental for ensuring that client invoices are correct by auditing every patient file on a daily basis.
Kerry was born in Gainesville, Florida and comes from a long line of Gator fans! She moved to the Palm Coast area in 1985 when there was only one Publix store. She has always had a love for animals.
Kerry began taking horseback riding lessons when she was eight years old and was instantly hooked! She showed her horses competitively on the Arabian Show Circuit for over ten years.
Since childhood, she has owned dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, fish, ferrets, and horses.
Kerry recently graduated from Keiser University with an Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology. In addition to working as a veterinary assistant, she also works as an X-Ray tech for Florida Hospital Flagler.
Kerry is married and has a five year old daughter named Kailyn. The Balls share their home with three dogs: a shepherd mix named Bruiser, a lab mix named Kita, a 3 legged pitbull named Chopper, two cats: Penelope and Trike (Apropriately named for his three legs!) and 3 fish: Phineas, Ferb, and Candace…..all affectionately named by Kailyn.
Kerry has a soft-spot for the less fortunate so most of her animals are rescues that she acquired through the animal hospital.
Busy is an adjective that describes Kerry well. Most of her free time is spent with her family and taking Kailyn to dance class.
